HQ Improvements
On Sunday 8 Jan, 5 leaders met at the HQ with 1 mission… to remove the old ‘fete shed’.. one side of which had rotten completely and therefore unsafe to remain standing (and we need the electricity cable to power the new building!) with some careful dismantling, a couple of crowbars, the odd use of a sledge hammer, some occasional burning and 5 hours of hard graft, the shed soon came down, ready for a skip to remove it from site.
Underneath, we were pleased to find a solid concrete base which will be used to re-site the gaz store and cycle racks which will be covered with the bits from the dismantled car port!
