Facilities Available

 

  • The H/Q main hall is a 200 sq. metre Function Room

  • Fully equipped Kitchen which includes kettle/water heater, fridge/freezer, microwave, oven (instructions for use on the wall above on the right-hand side – gas bottle located outside), china plates and mugs but would suggest paper/plastic one brought in for children’s parties

  • Disabled access

  • Seating and tables for 100 people: chairs are located in the cupboard with the giant Scout on and tables are to the left of this cupboard on the racks

  • Black-out blinds are kept in the top of the broom cupboard on a shelf 

  • The Jubilee building is a smaller meeting room: no toilets or kitchen

  • Camping in the field for Scout and Guide Groups

  • Close to Motspur Park Station

  • On and off-street parking

  • Discounted Rates for Scout and Guide group

 

Hire includes

 

  • Hire of main hall and/or Jubilee room, kitchen, toilet facilities, field and the equipment available in these areas, for the time agreed.

  • Parking on the hard standing in the car park. There is no parking permitted on the drive, the grassed areas to the rear of the HQ, in front of the garage doors or blocking any doors to buildings.

  • The costs of heating and lighting are included. PLEASE DO NOT TOUCH THE HEATER SWITCHES OR THERMOSTATS

  • Spare hand towels /toilet rolls and cleaning equipment are available in the cupboard on the far-left-hand side of the hall.

 

Hire does not include:

 

  • Any room other than the main hall and/or the Jubilee room, kitchen and toilet facilities unless agreed in advance.

  • The use of any equipment other than that available in the hired areas, unless agreed in advance.

 

General notes
 

  • You are not permitted to cover or deface the Scout Group displays in any way.

  • Evening hires must end by 8pm.

  • Please ensure that your guests do not cause excessive noise or nuisance to neighbouring residents or adjacent garage tenants.

  • Smoking is not permitted in any part of the buildings.

  • The hirer must obtain all necessary music and alcohol licences and insurance as appropriate.

  • All rubbish must be removed at the end of the hire. It is the responsibility of the hirer to dispose of this. There are no collection facilities from the premises.

  • The halls, toilets and kitchens must be left clean and tidy. Brooms are kept in the cupboard by the table stack. 

  • All lights and electrical equipment (apart from heaters) must be switched off at the end of the hire.

  • Fire doors are to be closed and all doors and gates to be locked at the end of the hire.

  • All damage and additional cleaning must be paid for by the hirer.

  • All bookings include 30 minutes prior, to set up and 30 minutes after to clear up.

 

Prices
 

  • Hire of Main hall, kitchen, toilets, car park and field £30.00 per hour

  • Jubilee building (no access to toilets) £15.00 per hour

  • Main hall and Jubilee building booked together £40.00 per hour

  • Deposits (Non-returnable)

  • £50.00 per booking

  • Full Payment to be made 7 days in advance of the event
