ABOUT US

The 22nd Wimbledon Scout Group strives to maintain the highest standards in all we do. We have an excellent team of leaders backed by first class facilities, outstanding trustees and, of course, the best young people in the area. It is this that has made us one of the most successful in the Wimbledon and Wandle District in the Scout County of Greater London South West.

 

This tradition of excellence goes right back to our foundation in1927. We have been lucky to have always had good people running the group who have provided us with an excellent headquarters in Motspur Park, great equipment and a number of garages to let to provide the backbone of our income. Having these facilities gives the leadership a great opportunity to offer the best training for young people that is available. The team has a good balance of young leaders with plenty of experienced people to guide them.

 

As Scouting becomes even more popular we continue to grow. We are now an established co-ed group with a good proportion of girls in all sections that has helped to develop the Group even further.
